Selena Gomez enters billionaire's club largely due to her beauty brand, Rare Beauty, accounting for 80% of her $1.3 billion net worth.

Famous for her singing and acting careers, Selena Gomez has made her mark as a self-made billionaire predominantly through her beauty enterprise, Rare Beauty. The 32-year-old icon's total net worth stands at $1.3 billion, with Rare Beauty contributing to 80% of that amount.

Rare Beauty emerged in 2020 and reached over $350 million in revenue by 2023. With a strong social media presence of 4.1 million followers on TikTok and 8 million on Instagram, the brand earned high-value popularity. As of March, Rare Beauty valued at a staggering $2 billion, around the time when Gomez considered selling the company, a decision she later dismissed in a conversation with Time.

Gomez's investment portfolio includes Serendipity Brands, a dessert business; GoPuff, a grocery delivery service estimated at almost $15 billion in 2021 and included in Kevin Hart's venture capital collection; and Wondermind, a mental wellness platform co-established with her mother, valued at $100 million in 2022.

Endorsement deals with prestigious brands such as Puma, Louis Vuitton, and Coach contribute significantly to Gomez's wealth. Per Hopper’s 2024 Instagram Rich List, she receives an estimated $2.5 million for each sponsored post on Instagram.

Her accomplishments in the entertainment industry add to her financial and celebrity stature. Gomez, as an actor and executive producer on Hulu's popular series, "Only Murders In the Building," earns around $6 million per season, sharing screen space with renowned actors Steve Martin and Martin Short.
